Jewellery Care Guide
Please remove your jewellery before cleaning, bathing, or sleeping, and keep it away from heat sources. Avoid exposing it to water and chemicals, as chlorine, makeup, soap, perfume, and hairspray can dull its finish and lead to metal discolouration or oxidation. Stones in your jewellery may also be impacted by water, chemicals, and humidity, so it's best not to store your pieces in the bathroom.
Handle your jewellery with care to prevent collisions with hard surfaces, which could alter its shape or damage it. This is especially important for rings, which are more prone to such issues. Additionally, stacking rings can lead to common wear and tear, so take extra care when stacking!
Sterling Silver Jewellery
Sterling silver is highly durable and ideal for daily wear, but over time silver can tarnish. We use premium solid 925 sterling silver in our collection and reccommend using a soft silver polishing cloth to keep your silver looking great.
- Clean Weekly: Use a silver polishing cloth.
- Remove jewellery before applying moisturisers, cosmetics, or perfumes.
- Store Safely: Keep in the provided care pouch in a dry place.
- Remove Before Water: Take off before showering or swimming
By following these steps, your jewellery will remain looking great for years!
Gold Plated Jewellery
Our gold-plated jewellery features a solid sterling silver base ranging from 18k gold plate to 24k gold plating all with 3 microns to ensure longevity. To help assist this please:
- Wear jewellery after applying perfume, deodorant, or lotions, and let them absorb.
- Avoid Water and Sweat: Remove before workouts, swimming, or washing hands.
- Avoid Cleaning with a Tarnish cloth as it can strip the gold from the silver.
- Keep Away from Chemicals: Remove before using cleaning or personal care products
- Clean Regularly: Wipe with a soft cloth after use.
- Store Properly: Use the Salt Society pouch and box to prevent scratches.
